Enistic have been chosen by Alan Bartlett & Sons to help ensure they are fully ESOS compliant.
“We chose Enistic for ESOS, first and foremost because they have the necessary expertise to ensure our compliance before the December 2015 deadline. This enables us to focus on what we do best knowing that at the end of the year we will be fully compliant with ESOS.” Toby Bartlett, Director.
Alan Bartlett & Sons are the leading root vegetable producer of carrots and parsnips in the UK. Their main site in East Anglia, is capable of washing up to 5,000 tonnes of carrots and parsnips each week, so understandably energy consumption is high.
The organisation has already made large steps to become energy efficient which includes investing over £1m in one of UK’s largest, privately owned roof mounted solar PV systems which produces around 20% of total annual electricity consumption.
Now it’s up to Enistic to do a full audit of their main site to identify further energy saving opportunities and calculate what savings this could lead to if implemented with an ROI and LCCA. Then our Lead Assessor will do a final review of the findings in the evidence pack and sign it.
Commenting on ESOS, Toby Bartlett says “If with Enistic’s help, we can see ways of reducing our carbon footprint further and making more savings, this will be very much welcomed by our business.”
Initially Alan Bartlett & Sons met with the Enistic team for an initial, no obligation scoping meeting to discuss their energy consumption in order to determine an approach, time frame and fixed price for compliance.
