At Enistic, we provide a full ESOS service called ‘Easy ESOS’ which guarantees compliance for a fixed price.

Below is our approach to compliance from start to finish.

1. ESOS SCOPING MEETING

We provide a free, no-obligation scoping meeting in order to determine an approach, time frame and cost for compliance.

During the meeting we discuss things such as:

Total energy consumption (buildings, transport and any industrial processes)
Available energy data to hand
Significant energy consumers
What, if anything is covered already by ISO 50001, DECs or existing audits
Determine total number of physical site audits required
Review a typical evidence pack example
Give an idea of timeframe for the work
Either during, or within 24 hours of the meeting provide a proposal for guaranteed compliance

2. COLLATE ENERGY DATA AND CONDUCT ENERGY AUDITS

Once work begins the first step is then to receive all of the organisations energy data. Because we have developed our own market leading ESOS software we can deal with any data including; half hourly, meter readings, CSV, sub-metering or data straight from the tariff.

We then also begin the physical site audits to gain insight into energy consumption and energy efficiency whilst identifying opportunities where savings can be made.

As well as physical audits, to save cost we can use our ESOS software to carry out remote audits.

This information is collated using our iPad auditing app.

3. IDENTIFY ENERGY SAVINGS OPPORTUNITIES

Once we have collated data using our iPad auditing app, our ESOS project manager will then identify energy savings opportunities and for each calculate a ROI and LCCA.

All of the energy data from buildings, transport and industrial processes will then be compiled into one document which is the evidence pack.

This will identify the total savings in kWh and £ that could be made from the opportunities discovered for the organisation as a whole and also on a site by site level.

4. EVIDENCE PACK SIGN OFF

Once the evidence pack has been produced our ESOS qualified assessor will then give it a final review to ensure it meets all of the requirements and once they are happy it will be sent to a board level Director at the client who reads it and acknowledges they have reviewed the findings.

5. NOTIFYING THE ENVIRONMENT AGENCY OF COMPLIANCE

The final step is notify the Environment Agency of the organisations compliance before the December 5th deadline.

This is done via an online form which Enistic can do on the organisations behalf.

After this is done we will also provide copies of the evidence pack for the organisation to keep as proof of their compliance.

If your organisation does have to comply with ESOS and you haven’t begun your route to compliance yet the first step is to arrange a free, no obligation scoping meeting with the Enistic team to discuss an approach and cost for compliance.
