1) Who Are We?

We are Enistic Limited, based in Oxford, England. We are 17 enthusiastic people who, since 2002, have been producing a carbon accounting software to help businesses reduce their carbon footprints and adopt more sustainable corporate practices.

Primarily, we focus on helping larger companies comply with a range of sustainability reporting requirements and fight against climate change. Most of the clients we deal with still work with us almost a decade after they started using us. Our platform and panel of expert carbon consultants help make your sustainability journey more efficient.

 

2) Does your system handle Scope 3?

Yes, Enistic handles Scope 1, 2 and 3 sections of the Greenhouse Gas protocol (GHG protocol).

 

3) Can I generate legally compliant reports from the Enistic system?

Yes, we have produced and filed over 4,000 fully compliant legal reports. The system is tried and tested and 3 of the Big 4 accountancies have audited the reports over the past few years.

4) What standards does the Enistic software comply with?

Heavily standard based companies comply with the standards that you will require daily. These standards include:

5) Is the system available in languages other than English?

Our software is available in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Simplified Chinese. If another language is required, you can always contact us to discuss.

 

6) How many factors are built into the system?

Enistic maintains a large database of UK and EU government approved conversion factors. There are more than 4,000 factors built in, including within the software that covers fuel types, vehicle types, energy types, product composition, raw materials, and company annual emissions. These factors are promptly updated if annual updates are issued by the relevant authorities.
